From Farm to Plate

The GOOD Farm raises animals with an eye towards their natural inclinations - pigs that root, chickens that scratch, turkeys that roam and ducks that splash. Our first focus is upon humane treatment of animals, an orientation which in turn offers the consumer unparalleled delicacies. All fowl is given access to growing pasture, all swine to root-able soil, roots and leaves. Our butchering program gets you the cuts you want and the flavors you desire.

Jefferson owns and runs the GOOD Farm. A farmer since 2010, Jefferson approaches farming from his palate with a focus on finding bio-mimicry systems that are delicious and sustainable. After running the GOOD Farm as well as a farm to market shop called the Larder and a fried chicken trailer on Martha’s Vineyard, Jefferson has moved to Columbia, CT with his wife Erin to recreate much of their island magic.
